I started with Netduino over 5 years ago, and was working with the first VB support.
Unfortunately it was way too unstable for the project at the time, and I was forced to abandon it.
Now I’m back and much has changed withe the lineup of boards.
So my question before I start again is;
Is VB still supported and is it stable and as up to date as the C# versions?
And also is it supported on the V3 boards?
And lastly, is there any reason NOT to use VB over C#?
I love VB and often share my code. I usually write it in VB and use an online converter to publish it it C#. The code is compiled the same as close as I can tell. Here are a couple o examples.
Thanks for your reply David.
So just to clarify, VB is fully supported?
If I purchase a Netduino V3 ethernet then the latest firmware etc for this board will also fully support VB.
The any firmware for .net micro framework will support VB. All the Netduino boards support VB.
