Netduino 3 wifi incorrect project type Visual Studio 2015 Community

I have followed the windows instructions and a new Netduino Unversal project exists, but when I attempt to create a new project from it, I get an error box saying Incorrect Project Type.

Does anyone have any idea what I need to do?

Sorted it by downloading the project type from Extensions and Updates section of Visual Studio 2015.

Hey Ronald, sorry for the late reply.

If you’re new to Netduino, you might want to check out these simple introductory project samples in Hackster so you can get familiar with using all sorts of peripherals and Netduino.Foundation.

Additionally, I dont know if you’re aware of our next gen board called Meadow, that’ll be able to run full .Net Standard apps. Keep an out on their twitter for further updates.
