Is Netduino 3 capable of generating a 25 kHz PWM signal?

Hi all,

I am new to Netduino and was looking for PWM specs but can’t find any.
I want to drive a couple of PWM fans, they expect a 25 kHz PWM signal

Is this possible?
If so, is it hardware-generated or by software?

PWM on the Netduino is hardware generated and I’m pretty sure it can generate a 25 kHz signal. I’m not near a Netduino at the moment, I will have a look next time I have the chance, probably tomorrow afternoon.

I did respond someone regarding PWM and I think I suggested that 500 kHz was possible.

You can generate a 25 kHz signal using the hardware PWM. I also tried the 500 kHz and that is also possible. You can sometimes get a little noise on the signal and the deviation is about 1%.
