i’ve searched around the docs and can’t seem to find any information on rather you can use the mUSB to transfer data between devices as opposed to other methods, is it possible to do such?

You can use the Meadow CLI to write data to the Meadow. We don’t currently support reading it back from the Meadow. Additionally, the USB port cannot be used for USB Host right now, only as a client. This is a feature we are interested in adding at a later date.
